An Inside Look at Asia Pulp and Paper
What’s a magazine article about Asia Pulp and Paper doing in a technology blog you ask? Well for starters, how about seeing the biggest paper making machine in the world and wandering through groves of cloned Eucalyptus trees that grow faster than your grandmother’s sunflowers? This past summer I toured APP China’s Hainan operations and saw first-hand their vertically integrated plantation to paper mill workflow. In the September 2011 edition of Print Action magazine I chronicle my journey into the lair of a forest-gobbling paper-breathing dragon and come to some surprising conclusions about the future of paper-making in China. The latest issue of Print Action is on newsstands now… and you can click here for a PDF!
